Friday Off

Its nice to have the day off.  Granted, it wasn't given to me, I took it with vacation time. I always try to find weekends where I have a Monday off due to holiday and take that Friday off to give me four days off in a row. And today is one of those days.

We took the kids over to the zoo this morning.  We went to Indonesia, rode the ponies and then stopped over in Africa real quick so we could ride the Sky Safari. Good times.

I just installed the Yahoo! Fantasy Football app on my Droid.  Wow! Just, Wow!

I have two teams and now I can view matchups, update rosters, add/drop players...basically everything I would do on a computer, in the convenience of my phone.  Now, I may still want to do player research and the like, on the computer, as viewing a bunch of number on a small screen is sometimes not worth it.

This is going to be a really fun fantasy season.  I'm going to have real-time stats on my phone and I can check it whenever I want.  And if I hear a player is having a big day, I can even pick him up.  This is very cool!
