As you may have noticed, by some of my submissions in the photo club forum, I purchased a mini-digital camera over the weekend. It has been affectionately dubbed, "crapcam" and I've been playing around with it for a few days.
I picked it up at Walgreens for $10. I don't have the exact specs, but its got to be less than a megapixel. There's not LCD preview screen, so you don't see what you have taken until you download it to your computer. And the quality is subpar. But, its a fun little toy to play with and I think it shows that you don't need a professional camera to share photos.
I think some of the black and white photos that I posted turned out pretty good. And I do think there is a little bit of charm taking pictures without having the instant feedback you get with "real" digital cameras.
